With over 12 years of experience, Michael’s project experience is diverse and ranges from hospitals and commercial to residential and education facilities.

Michael is in his element when working on technically complex projects, which present the opportunity to break down complicated issues and develop creative solutions.

He is very experienced in high-level concept design, working with the client to ensure successful incorporation of their requirements at the early stages of the project, right up to the final delivery, working on-site with the builders and contractors.

Most recently, Michael has been working across a range of projects, notably the development of a PC2 grade laboratory integrated with a heritage building at Western Sydney University. This pharmaceutical-grade manufacturing hub will give scientists and small businesses high-grade facilities to produce small scale runs that otherwise would have proved difficult due to MOQs that large manufacturing plants demand.

A standout project for Michael has been the Australian Museum. Starting back in 2016 with the masterplan, in 2017 he saw the completion of Westpac Long Gallery and last year the opening of the latest stage of AM’s masterplan – Project Discover. With many complexities and important considerations involved, from the heritage aspect to protecting the priceless exhibits, this is one of Michaels’ career highlights.

Curious by nature, Michael loves discovering new things and setting out on the next great adventure. Be it travelling to new cities and countries or exploring new terrains.
