David’s greatest satisfaction comes from serving his clients – working collaboratively with great people to create great environments that benefit the wider community. Whilst he has consistently delivered across several market sectors including education, aviation, residential and retail, David’s key focus is the Commercial and Workplace sector.
With significant shifts in thinking about the role of the workplace, David advocates for the user experience, the use of technology and the principles of sustainability and wellness, balanced against achieving sensible commercial and operational outcomes.
Before joining ADP, David led some of Melbourne’s largest commercial projects including 80 Collins St, which comprised a new 43,000sqm premium office and a 255-key hotel atop a revitalised retail podium. David has also delivered several large workplace fitout projects including the 10,000+sqm refurbishment to Toyota’s Commercial Headquarters. He also designed and delivered Swanston Central, an iconic CBD development which revitalised the heritage Carlton Brewery into a 71-level vibrant vertical village.
David combines excellent communication skills with strong technical knowledge to achieve his client’s vision. With a core belief in contributing ideas beyond the disciplines he represents; his love lies in the journey of a project and the relationships built along the way.
He also serves on the Property Council Future Trends and innovation committee, Property Council Mentor program and Engineers Australia’s Electrical College Victoria Committee.
